Education Minister visited our School.

On Wednesday 7th March 2012 The Minister for Education visited our school.

It was a great day for Clea P.S. and the entire community.

Mr O’Dowd came to congratulate the staff and pupils on achieving an ‘Outstanding’ inspection report.

He was very pleased to see the P6/7 Industry project and discussed this with them great detail.

The younger pupils explained their class work and asked him questions about his job. He was delighted when a P1 child thought he arrived on a motor bike!!!

Mr O’Dowd complemented the school on achieving its first Eco flag and planted a tree in the school garden.

He was presented with a picture of swans on Clea Lake and some crystal before he left.

The Minister said ‘The high standard of work produced at this school is evident. Both staff and pupils have worked hard to achieve this outstanding result and I congratulate everyone for their successes.

It was a lovely day and great memory for all.
