Last week some representatives from the eco committee alongside Mrs Mone and Miss Heaney headed off to the Eco School Awards ceremony to collect our fourth eco flag. Whilst this was a great achievement for our entire school one of our pupils picked up a most prestigious award in addition! Alfie from P3 has dedicated much of his time this year to helping with eco meetings and the issue of litter in and around our school grounds. He has given of his time and effort and attended a number of eco meetings. And so he received the Northern Ireland Eco Pupil Of The Year award! We couldn’t be prouder Alfie, very well-deserved! ???
