Clea Primary School celebrates Easter and fund raise for the ‘SANDS' Charity

The pupils, parents, staff and wider community came together in Clea P.S. during Easter week to organise a cake sale for the SANDS charity (Infant and neonatal death). A great afternoon of fun and celebration ensued in the spring sunshine with an out door cake sale which raised £450.00 for this cause.

Mrs Duffy the school Principal and Mrs Carmel Connolly (parent and Governor) presented a cheque to Mrs. Karen McMullen an ambassador of this charity following the cake sale. Mrs McMullen, her
husband Seamus and their extended family have been working tirelessly for the SANDS charity since the beginning of the year, and the pupils staff and parents of the school are delighted to be able to contribute to their efforts.

Karen and Seamus are the parents of Jamie (P4) and Ashton (P1), pupils in Clea P.S. Little baby Ali joined in the fun and took great pride in accepting the cheque along with her Mummy and two brothers
