Today the children in Mrs Duffy's class spent the morning planning and designing their own hats. The children concluded that making a set of instructions and carrying out the process was much harder than they had thoughtless!
The children worked in groups and experienced:trial and error, approximation, estimation and team work.
All children succeeded in making a hat, nevertheless we don't think we will be wearing them for too long given the weather today!!
That's another lesson for another day though.
